CS2 update unlocks all test maps for Casual and Deathmatch

 Valve shared last Thursday (17) new updates about Counter-Strike 2 ( CS2). The main highlight is the release of all limited test maps for Casual and Deathmatch modes. In addition, the maps will also be available to be played offline.

In case you haven't remembered, the maps in question are Mirage, Ancient, Anubis, Dust2, Italy, Nuke, Office, Overpass, and Vertigo.

Also made the following changes and fixes:

Dropped bombs no longer sink in water, a bug that was hurting players and causing disruption in matches.

Reformulation of the bullet penetration system, to make the game even more realistic and consistent.

Enabled bot control, for when players end up leaving matches or simply falling so that the team is not so depleted.

Finally, as pointed out by some Twitter users, CS2 remains with the decrease in rounds, with the change of sides now taking place in round 12 and the match can go until round 24, which can make a match take about 45 minutes to complete.

CS2 does not yet have a set release date, but according to Valve, the game will arrive in 2023.

On March 22, 2023, Valve announced the release of Counter-Strike 2, which makes use of the Source 2 game engine. The release is scheduled for summer 2023, as a free update to the game Global Offensive.

CS2, as it is popularly known among fans, is an update that not only improves the game's graphics but also makes them lighter and more realistic in the game.
